Community

Cafe

We operate a social enterprise Community Café alongside our soft play facilities. Not only do we produce barista-style coffee, hot food and party catering, we offer training and mentoring for local people for employability skills. The income generated from this enterprise is invested into our children and youth support services.

Badger’s Patch

In partnership with Winchester City Council, the Carroll Centre was awarded a government Pocket Park grant to create a children’s nature area in Stanmore to help children connect with nature and enjoy woodland walks, open-air story-telling and bush craft. The project opened in May 2020 in an previously unwelcoming patch of wooded area. It is now a beautiful walk filled with wooden sculptures, bug houses, hedgehog house and nests.
